If I walk past a homeware store, I can't help but go in. You just never know what you might find, especially if I’m in a new city or area which I’ve never been to before. Last week I was in Berlin and found myself in the area of Fredrichshain, where two shops selling quirky homeware accessories caught my eye. Click here to read more.Read More
I’ve just made the pilgrimage to one the worlds most famous houses, Graceland. Home to Elvis Presley from 1957- until his death in 1977. Some of the rooms haven’t been decorated since 1974 with predominately chrome and glass themes. From lightening bolts painted onto walls in the film room, to the shag pile carpets on the ceiling and walls in the ‘Jungle room’. Graceland was as much a family home, as it was a play house for one of our biggest icons.Read More

My house plant mantra is ‘go full foliage or go home’ and ‘the leafier the prettier’ - yep I do actually say that. So when I saw these prints today, I couldn’t believe I could combine my love of house plants with my love of art.Read More
If you follow me anywhere online*, you might have seen that I’ve just returned from a trip to Majorca. Don’t worry, I’ve not suddenly become the next Judith Charmers and decided to ditch interior blogging for travel writing. I’ve just never been so excited to write about a hotel before, until now.Read More
I don’t know about you, but I’m always adding and changing bits of my home. I don’t think a house is ever “finished”. For me it’s one long continuous lifelong process to add and evolve. This also keeps my home fresh and contemporary, and it also stops me getting bored with one particular style.
My latest obsession is a new coffee table. When we bought our home we didn’t have any spare money so we’ve been using an old vintage trunk as a table. The trunk which has fantastic storage looks a bit heavy (its dark blue and trimmed in black and brass), so I’m now on the lookout for something a little more grown up. Something ideally made of my two favourite materials- MARBLE & BRASS!Read More
I recently threw a going away bash for a friend who was going travelling and I wanted a personalised banner to send her on her way.
Personalised banners can be expensive and a waste of money if they can’t be re-used, so I went in search of something I could re-use depending on the event.
Last weekend I decided our house needed more green so I took myself off to our local garden centre in pursuit of finding a hardy house plant to fill a space in our kitchen/ diner.
The obsession started over Easter when my mother in-law bought us a small house plant which has since sat proudly on our kitchen shelf, and most importantly is still alive!
I love how house plants can instantly change the atmosphere of a room. They not only brighten up a drab space with a punch of green, but they can add style and a sense of health.
Last week I spent a couple of days in Stockholm for work (I’m a fashion designer by day), and I was fortunate enough to pass by some amazing homeware shops.
Stockholm is great for homeware shopping (and of course fashion too!) so if you are looking for something a bit differentit’s definitely worth the two hour flight. Just don’t forget to pack an extra suitcase!!
Here is my homeware shopping guide to Stockholm (In 48 hours)… * WARNING* This post does contain a LOT of Photos. I hope you enjoy!Read More
I’m currently having a moment with marble trays.
It all started when I came across one at Hay design whilst deciding how I could merge their chic Danish design into my little eclectic home.
I never thought a piece of carved stone could look so stylish. I would normally associate marble with high end bathrooms and kitchens, so I loved the idea of bringing a touch of luxury into our home as an accessoryRead More
If you follow me on instagram, then you'll know that I'm OBSESSED with drink trolleys! So much so, that I even call Fridays 'Bar cart Friday' in homage to these beauts! This meant for my first product post it had to be about my favourite piece of furniture. I've researched the offer us Brits have, as lets face it we don't have the best Interior shops in the UK (unlike our lucky friends across the ponds). Ranging from those on a budget to the super expensive...Read More
