{SHOPPING} HOMEWARE SHOPPING IN BERLIN

If I walk past a homeware store, I can't help but go in. You just never know what you might find, especially if I’m in a new city or area which I’ve never been to before. Last week I was in Berlin and found myself in the area of Fredrichshain, where two shops selling quirky homeware accessories caught my eye.

The first was Victoria met Albert. A contemporary homeware and apparel store, selling a range of different brands. They sell kitchen ceramics, rugs, lamps, soft furnishings, cushions, mirrors and even men’s and women’s clothing.

Victoria Met Albert is located at Krossener Str. 9-10, 10245 Berlin, Germany. (pictures below)

The second is quirky homeware boutique; hAusen, which was conveniently located just around the corner from Victoria Met Albert (also in the same area of Friedrichshain).

Hausen stocks well known brands such as Hay, House Doctor, OYOY and Ferm living as well as lesser known brands. Sewing enthusiasts will love it, since they stock quirky prints for your own upholstery, and stationery lovers (you know who you are), will also squeal with delight when they see the selection of Hay, and ferm living brass stationary storage. There's even some items which are geared towards children, so there really is something for everyone.  Personally I took a real fancy to the brass stationary storage... If only I had more space in my luggage, otherwise I could have bought a lot more!

Hausen is located at Krossenerstraße 19, 10245 Berlin . (Pictures below)

If you find yourself in Berlin and love anything homeware related, check these two stores out. Just make sure you leave plenty of room in your suitcases!
