{HOUSE LUST LOVES} MY CHRISTMAS TABLE WITH SANDRA ISAKSSON

Have you planned your Christmas table yet? Don’t fear, it’s still not too late to create something special with just over a week to go.

Last weekend we had a practice run for the big day when we entertained friends with our new Isak Midnattssol plates by Sandra Isaksson. (Accessorized with industrial-esk steel charger plates, loose pine cones, and a garland twisted with battery fairy lights).

These dreamy plates bring a whole new dimension to the dining table with the use of retro inspired geo patterns and prints around the outside and inside of the plates. Plus I love the pop of grey and monochrome. For a grey monotone girl like me, these are the perfect prints, and they fit just perfect with my all grey home.

Now I say plates, as that’s what Sandra Isaksson calls them, although they are more a large bowl with their large ceramic rim which I’m a huge fan of, and at only £10 per plate, they are quite the statement, but can also be used for nibbles, breakfast granola, or dinner.

These retro inspired prints are a signature of Sandra Isaksson. Unmistakably Scandinavian with splashes of color, influenced by her travels and heritage. If you’ve never heard of Sandra Isaksson, then you will this year.

Sandra is an award winning graphic designer, product designer and illustrator with a master’s degree in graphic design and illustration from Designskolen Kolding in Denmark. Sandra works as a freelance designer for international brands and runs her own Scandi-Brit fusion brand designing and producing a coordinated range of home accessories.

"All about beautiful happy things"… I mean how gorgeous is that.

And if the plates aren't enough to seal the deal then check out the packaging as well. Each individual plate comes in a gorgeous box, perfect for a gift this christmas time, and at only £10 each, these large plates are going to come in pretty handy this Christmas time. Watch out on the House Lust Insta feed for more pics coming your way soon.
