Wayfair blogger challenge; jungle boogie

This month I have collaborated with Dutch Decor for Wayfairs Home Expert Challenge, to show you how you can inject a bit of jungle into your home with a cushion refresh.

I’m always looking at ways to update my home in an easy and affordable way, especially when it comes to adding the season's key trends.

This season it’s all about jungle prints. Whether you’re into Palm prints, photographic leaf designs or botanical birds, the 70’s jungle inspired trend is one that is here to stay.

I’m already a bit jungle obsessed with every room in my house having some sort of house plant/ cactus lingering around to add a bit of greenery. This was why I jumped at the chance to be a part of Wayfairs Home Expert Challenge this month and take the jungle trend further to give my sofas a cushion makeover.

Not only did I refresh my indoor sofas with Dutch Decors jungle inspired cushions, but I also took the trend outside and refreshed my garden sofa area too.

I love how outdoor sofas have given us the chance to bring the indoors outside, so it was even more fun to take the jungle trend outside.

About the cushions…

I chose five different cushions from Dutch Decor's range; a solid green in velvet to add texture, a velvet photographic leaf print, a parrot to add playfulness, a large ochre cushion which I’m using as a floor cushion for the kids to sit on and a small metallic cushion. Because … a girl can never have too many metallics in her life, and I love the contrast with greenery. (All links are below)
